I was lucky enough to have received this shirt from a Goodwill that was bought and donated to us by the former children’s library in St Paul’s, North London. It was a very large piece of clothing so we found it to be a bit of a challenge to get it untangled, no big deal as it was a good size, but it’s still a challenge to find a way to get it untangled. It was a bit of a gamble as the children’s library unfortunately hasn’t the means to pay for a professional to do it, so we thought we would do it ourselves. Turns out it was a bit of a nightmare and we were to determine just how much of the shirt was not just the original design but more importantly what we were going to do with it, we were going to hang it in a display. We were going to do the traditional lacy cotton sleeve and also do a bit of a hat and hat band for it. The results were not a bad result, we didn’t have to do anything with it, but we had a bit of a catastrophe when we finally got to hang it up. There was a bit of a mess and the shirt was severely damaged. We were able to find a house where the staff would let us put it up and get it fixed, so it’s still here, but we would have to re-sole it. We had to take it to a specialist who could do a bit of a job on it, so it’s been a bit of a slog to get it sorted out, but it is finally here and all sorted out for the one who donated it to us.

While the exact item number is unknown, the production date is between 1968 and 1969. The product is still in very good condition. It’s hard to tell just from looking at the photo (but it’s not the product photo that does it), but this shirt is a great example of the quality of the original items. This is a great shirt for the price, as it is actually a limited order item. Plus, I also think this is a good one-of-a-kind item.

The shirt is a great value. I purchased this shirt to replace my last one which had been worn less than a year. It is a best of breed item with it’s premium cut, fine quality, and timeless style. I am extremely pleased with it and will be buying another one for a future gift. I have a feeling this is to be my regular shirt with the small steel braid coming in the next couple of months.

This is a great shirt for that black and white Christmas cheer! It was made for the T.S.S. show in 1968. It is printed in charcoal green with the words ‘One of A Kind’ on the chest. It is a very nice shirt, the color is accurate. I love it and I will probably buy more of these shirts in the future.
